So apparently a few people commented that my Kool-Aid Dispenser Design Concept was sexually suggestive. I really don't see the connection. It was supposed to be an innocent, fun idea for kids and their Kool-Aid stands. This is the age we live in--where people automatically associate a tube-shaped liquid dispenser and "soft ball" technology as phallic symbols. Perverts.

On to my product design of the day for Designs We've Seen (a lot) series: Ball Sacks that hang from the back of trucks. (plus some added bonuses: racing strips, flames, John Deere bumber sticker, dear head decal, bullet hole decals, and Harley Davidson vinyl.)

I am by far not out of ideas for Song of the Day or Designs We've Seen (a lot) Series. I just need a little break from posting them consistently this week, as I am busy designing and working on a new accumulated article/posting.

Today's a good day--designing, drinking tea, and listening to the Red's game (wish they were doing better, losing against the Pirates again.) In the meantime, I will still be posting spoofs (I've limited myself to no more than 10-15 minutes to create them, so the Photoshop work is lame, but you get the point), photos, ideas and articles. I have two new additions to the  Designs We've Seen (a lot) Series family (similar to the previously posted Souvenir Designs segment.)

I figured I'd transition designs we've seen a lot to souvenir designs we've see a lot by including a two for one. One is the increasing usage of Live Trace in Illustrator to make a photo "vector", and the the other is the abundance of tacky T-Shirts with large images often seen in places like Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
