Chopper the Hippo

The hippo I helped design was name Chopper. I find it to be a very appropriate name...

Cincinnati Skyline

Cincinnati Skyline

Well, our awesome team knocked this right out. I wish I had more design time for some awesome details, but working on the clock still made a great piece.

Cincinnati Skyline Silhouette Panorama

Cincinnati Skyline Silhouette Panorama

I had posted a Cincinnati skyline silhouette some time back, and posted some updates of other designers uses of the image. Now, I'm back to the drawing board, and this project is intense! Preparing a 50 foot sheet of black vinyl of Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky's panorama view for install on a company's wall. Will need to post updates when this is finalized.

The Banshee - Kings Island - E3 Fabrication

The Banshee - Kings Island - E3 Fabrication

I've been waiting patiently to post this because I think it's awesome. Now that I see FOX19 has posted an image, I believe I'm okay. The company that created this sign, E3 Fabrication, did an amazing job!! I am really glad they involved me in this project, even as small as a role that I had. Seriously cool!

Ault Park

My goal is to find beauty in everything, and there's no doubt this is beautiful.

Illuminate wdsiemer

Illuminate
Jakes Bitter (Kramer/Siemer)
Everything dies and then turns back to dirt
One day we'll walk on all those who we loved
Everything dies and then comes back to life
One day we will all illuminate the sky
The earth will explode and send us into space
We'll turn into clouds and form new chemistry
One day we'll glow for a new human race
Looking up at what was once history
Everything dies and then comes back to life
One day we will all illuminate the sky
Everything dies and then turns back to dirt
One day we'll walk on all those who we loved

NKG Shadowbox

I only used this piece as a template for a shadowbox template, but I thought it looked cool when I scanned it in for Naked Karate Girls.

Clear Lexan + Black Vinyl

Another Skyline

I thought I saw this on a billboard, and now I can confirm since I saw this commercial. Another usage of my skyline illustration... This is getting fun...

Same Image, Different Result II

Previously, I posted a silhouette of the Cincinnati Skyline.

Then, I followed it up by posting about multiple people using the same image for different purposes.

Now, I actually RECEIVED my file from a client to get printed. It was low-res, but obviously I had no problem replacing it out.

Ollie's Trolley Over-The-Rhine

Took this shot a while back. I had always loved the historic feel of the area, and the vintage trolley of Ollie's Trolley in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati. However, I have never tried the food.

Tidy Cats Cincinnati

When is an advertising campaign not a good idea?

When it is kind of confusing, not very funny and associates a neighborhood with a cat box. (from Cincinnati News)

An apology has been issued and the billboard changed to a Pet Adoption ad...

2012 Opening Day

Since I posted an image from Opening Day 2011, I realize I have been doing The Sketchpad blog for over a year. Time flies.

Willie's Sports Bar

I hooked up Willie's with logo ceiling prints from all the local sports teams and stations. In addition, did their 700 WLWstation's frosted glass (whether I agree with the politics or not :) ). Check it out...
