SunnyPop / SunPop Select
SunnyPop / SunPop Select
Gold Medal has introduced SunPop™ Select, and SunnyPop™ popcorn as healthier alternatives to snacking—Whole Grain, Gluten-Free, and Non-GMO. With SunnyPop™, now schools can offer a popcorn that meets the guidelines of the USDA Smart Snacks in School program.
I am excited to announce the unveiling of SunPop Select and SunnyPop. Our team had the opportunity to create the packaging, bags, posters, and even the laser-cut popcorn popper.
This is one of 30 projects our team has been working on for the last few months. Please visit gmpopcorn.com to see our line-up of current products. I will start publishing these projects and many more as they are distributed. Stillwind created the mock-ups.

Coming Soon
Coming Soon
I have a TON of new content coming soon, but am waiting on official publication approval, It comes a lot longer with my new job and position. I used to see jobs through from start to completion. I would help take the order, design it, produce it, and present it to the client. Now I rely on so many hands--internal approval, item numbers, vendors, and print approvals.
I am very confident in my work, but I am starting to see my art isn't handled with the same level of love, respect, and attention. I have witnessed at least 5 vendors mishandle my work. After a few mishaps, the designer begins to get negative attention. However, this designer is starting to realize what he has to work with.

I had the pleasure to represent a long-time client The Leland Group at Carriage Hill's display. Such a beautiful home. Coming in over a million dollars, there's no way I could afford this home, but I am happy to help represent it. :) The photos were taken on a dying Samsung Galaxy phone (digital display animation and environmental display.

Share a Coke
I've been wanting to write and post so much new content, but life and work have been busy. I did want to comment on what an awesome branding job Coke did with their new "Share a Coke" campaign. I have seen so much free advertising and publicity from the news to social media.
No matter what name was on the can/bottle, people were going to drink it. However, people are searching out/creating their own Coke bottle names, and if they find one I bet they'll post it to Facebook or tell a friend.
Well done!

Top Pizza Restaurants 2014
Journalist and Food Connoisseur, Scott Schroeder traveled the United States in search of the best pizza restaurants. After trying over 100 of the best independent and chain pizza restaurants each city had to offer, Schroeder had the difficult task of narrowing his selections to three.
The award goes to...
1. Cici's Pizza
A vibrant atmosphere, great selections, and all you can eat for cheap makes this restaurant a people watcher paradise. Cici's left a lasting impression on Mr. Schroeder's colon. "Cici you later."
2. Little Caesar's
Little Caesar's has someone else's pizza waiting for you long before you arrive, and only makes you pay $5.00 for it. Mr. Schroeder commented, "Pizza. Pizza."
3. Domino's Pizza
Mr. Schroeder came across a quaint, little restaurant nestled in a fast-moving city. He had stumbled upon a Domino's Pizza, known for making one of the highest quality pizzas in the world. When Mr. Schroeder spoke to the CEO, he said that the pizza he used to sell his customer's sucked, so they decided to revamp it into this award-winning formula.
So, next time you are out traveling, look for one of Mr. Schroeder's award-winning pizza restaurants near you!

Rolling Stone's Intentional Mistake
Rolling Stone's Intentional Mistake
Although it is old news now...working in/with Design, PR and Marketing for as long as I have, you have to assume this Rolling Stone magazine mistake was intentional. A large amount of professional proofreaders, photographers, editors, and designers would have seen this, and somebody would have known this was incorrect before going to print.
If "John Hancock" wasn't "mistakenly" put on her back tattoo, this cover would have been ordinary, and easily ignored; however, the mistake made it talked about for weeks.
You can't believe everything the media feeds you...

Pretty gross. I guess this is what I get for taking the dog out in the woods for 8 hours. Removed this "sucker" from the back of her neck, and threw it in some alcohol.

Cincinnati Skyline Silhouette Panorama
I had posted a Cincinnati skyline silhouette some time back, and posted some updates of other designers uses of the image. Now, I'm back to the drawing board, and this project is intense! Preparing a 50 foot sheet of black vinyl of Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky's panorama view for install on a company's wall. Will need to post updates when this is finalized.

The Banshee - Kings Island - E3 Fabrication
I've been waiting patiently to post this because I think it's awesome. Now that I see FOX19 has posted an image, I believe I'm okay. The company that created this sign, E3 Fabrication, did an amazing job!! I am really glad they involved me in this project, even as small as a role that I had. Seriously cool!

Mid-Century Modern Homes
Mid-Century Modern
I go in-and-out of architectural flavors, but I'm obsessing over these mid-century modern homes. We went to see this home at an Open House months back in Paddock Hills, but it was pending before we arrived. I'm still looking... Frank Lloyd Wright/Rudy Hermes.... I love you.
