2013 Ford Fusion

2013 Ford Fusion

It's Auto Show time, and Ford unveiled an electric Fusion capable of achieving 100 mpg. I'm a satisfied current model driver. The new Ford looks more masculine, and is a little reminiscent to the much more expensive Aston Martin Brand.

Before USB Flash Drives

Before USB Flash Drives
William D. SIEMER II

I came across an amusing note I had written in a process book back in college. Up until the point I wrote this I had saved all my AutoCAD drawings on floppy disks, most of design files on ZIP disks, and backed-up on CD-ROMS.
A Small Inspiration
One day I was at my place of work and a co-worker showed me a keychain that her boyfriend had bought her. She said that it could hold a gig of memory and be transferred to different computers.

It seems every generation of designers have new luxuries afforded them through our advancing technology. I always anticipate the next innovation...

KIA Brand

KIA Hamster Logo Spoof
The KIA Brand

I have been saying it for a while; KIA has really turned their brand image around. The vehicles are visually appealing, the reliability and safety is improved, the warranty is outstanding, the price is right and the marketing has taken off.

The commercials are targeting an edgy and youthful audience, even if I'm not a big fan of the Soul's oversized hamsters.

Article: VW New Beetle 4/18/11

Volkwagen is set to show off their newly-designed nostalgic Beetle. Most car companies typically perform major design updates to their vehicle ever four years with minor improvements per model year. However, the VW New Beetle has pretty much stayed true to the model they introduced in 1998.

Ever since I did a project involving car development I have kept up on vehicle research and development, trends and car show highlights. So, I figured I'd share this story...

Volkswagen hopes to tap nostalgia with newest Beetle
