Monsters University Animation Progression

Disney Pixar is one of my all-time favorite companies. They posted this process piece on Facebook today. Love it.

5th Avenue Frogger

Frogger parodies could easily be justified as designs we've seen a lot, but this is a clever, imaginative take on the franchise. The arcade box uses real-time web-cam traffic feeds (and some clever coding) of New York's 5th Avenue to simulate the car obstacles in the Frogger universe.

Play with LEGOS

LEGOs (from the Danish phrase leg godt, which means "play-well") have so many different applications.

Erased de Kooning Drawing

From NPR
Another interesting concept... I like de Kooning's take on this project just as much as Rauschenberg's original idea.

Underwater Bodies

Love this concept... I've experimented with the idea of nature taking over art, so the art becomes the infusion of both; as I did with the final product in http://wdsiemer.blogspot.com/2011/07/what-cube.html.

These sculptures work with nature (coral reefs.)

Motivational Posters

After a hiatus, I'm resurrecting Designs We've Seen (a lot) Series for what seems to be a popular trend on my Facebook these days--people posting spoof inspirational posters. They have always been lame, and that's the attraction. How much do they help you or your company?

Edward Hopper

Another artist who has stood out to me since my childhood is Edward Hopper. His oil paintings have always made me feel a great sense of isolation.
