Movie Room Rendering
I believe I began rendering this as an idea of how I wanted my home's movie room to appear. As you can see it is crudely unfinished, but I came across it on an old CD so I thought I'd document it.

Completed Reading
Well, I just got finished with most of the exercises in my Learning Autodesk Maya 2010 book. It was a nice refresher course, but I have to say I wasn't entirely impressed with the format. Instead of offering variety with different projects, most of the designs were just continuations between chapters.
The authors have you create a scene from some Walt Disney Pictures feature film Roadside Romeo. For the most part, you add to this scene through the rest of the book. Sure it touches on modeling, texturing, lighting, character animations and the likes, but it really failed to keep me interested for its entirety.
I guess the only other issue is it's a 2010 edition, meaning I'm already behind.
