Gold Medal has introduced SunPop™ Select, and SunnyPop™ popcorn as healthier alternatives to snacking—Whole Grain, Gluten-Free, and Non-GMO. With SunnyPop™, now schools can offer a popcorn that meets the guidelines of the USDA Smart Snacks in School program.
I am excited to announce the unveiling of SunPop Select and SunnyPop. Our team had the opportunity to create the packaging, bags, posters, and even the laser-cut popcorn popper.

What is the difference between the sunny pop and the sun pop. They look like the same product with different packaging!
ReplyDeleteGood question since they are similar products. SunnyPop was created specifically to meet the USDA's School Requirements for Nutrition. Therefore, SunnyPop can be sold as a snack throughout all the school systems.
DeleteI can say it here in a personal context, but not as a part of our corporate marketing--Sun Pop Select was created as the "healthier", "low-calorie" alternative to snacking, much like the simple, light popcorn you see popping up on shelves.
I have personally tasted both products, and I really enjoyed them because I am a fan of simple. So, what it comes down to is the nutrition of SunnyPop is the greatest/least amount to comply with School regulations, and SunPop Select is the public alternative for a lighter popcorn. Either way you can't go wrong.
