The logo and logo type (font) were created to connect all of Kroger's fuel centers making it easier for customers to reconize them when they travel or move. The white area is shaped like the United States (representing Kroger's presence throughout the country) , the blue areas are the oceans, and the red and orange are Canada and Mexico. I am not sure why the designer chose the color scheme.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5072835922260336063.post-67643824984037909812013-04-30T10:25:43.894-04:002013-04-30T10:25:43.894-04:00Thanks, Matt! My wife disagrees. The thought maybe the logo was designed to be more generic so it could be used in states where they have King Soopers grocery stores (which is owned by Kroger), but I haven't seen that used that way... not in Colorado at least.Matt Forsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13358934894482192772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5072835922260336063.post-89533729800428378642013-03-27T09:37:24.937-04:002013-03-27T09:37:24.937-04:00Kroger fuel uses the KwikShop stores logo.
